Lopez on the other hand has been similar to Floyd’s “zero” throughout his entire professional boxing career. His heavy punches made him won 25 knockouts in 28 fights. He is a southpaw which can change his stance in any part of the game. He can punch both left and right and his combinations can reach up to 4-5 punches. He has been tagged as one of the best superstar in the Puerto Rico following Miguel Cotto who recently won against Yuri Foreman. Lopez’s boxing skill is just so fantastic! With his lateral movement and great defense, fighting against the Filipino hungry fighter will be easy.
Lopez vs Concepcion will be an all out war. It’s dubbed as “The Challenge” because it literally a challenge to both fighters. This will not be all Lopez as many believed. They think that Lopez will be the better fighter of the two but because of the willingness of Concepcion to win this fight especially that the WBO featherweight is on the line, it will be a “show me what you got” style of boxing.

On the Lopez vs Concepcion fight on July 10, 2010, the first few rounds will be owned by Bernabe Concepcion. His speed and power will prevail in the 1st-3th round. The tiger in Concepcion will be unleashed at the very first ring of the bell. By 4th-8th, Lopez will start to adjust with the fighting style of Concepcion and being more offensive and throwing more punches will be his game. If Lopez can strike Concepcion in the chin or body with full force, this will be the end of the game. Concepcion has been known to throw an average of 30 punches per round while Lopez is a little higher. During the middle rounds, defense will be crucial for both fighters. By the 9th- last round, the endurance and power will prevail in both fighters. Lopez will be a little dominant and Concepcion will be counter-punching. If Concepcion luckily hits a right hook at Lopez’s face, it will be “kiss to the belt” for him. But if Lopez continues with his promising defense and combinations it will be a “keep the belt” for him. Overall, I choose Lopez to win this by scorecards.
